Connect your twin to Claude

Your twin is the assistant Twin2.me builds from your own material: it knows what you know and speaks like you. The connector lets Claude consult it while you work, so it answers, writes and decides with your judgment instead of a generic one. Read-only: it cannot delete, change or upload anything.

Before you start

You need a Twin2.me account and some material in your twin. Without material the connector still works, but your twin will say it knows little about you yet. The connector URL is:

https://app.twin2.me/mcp

No key needed: when you connect, Claude sends you to Twin2.me to authorize it with your account (OAuth).

In Claude (Free, Pro and Max)

On claude.ai, open Customize → Connectors.
Click “+”, then Add custom connector.
Name it Twin2.me, paste https://app.twin2.me/mcp and click Add.
Click Connect. Twin2.me opens: sign in if needed and click Connect on the permission screen.

It is added to your Claude account, so you also get it in Claude Desktop. Claude’s free plan allows one custom connector.

In Claude Team and Enterprise

An owner adds it once for the whole organization:

Organization settings → Connectors → Add, hover Custom and choose Web.
Paste https://app.twin2.me/mcp, name it Twin2.me and click Add.

Then each member goes to Customize → Connectors, clicks Connect on Twin2.me and authorizes with their own account. Everyone connects their own twin: nobody sees anyone else’s.

What Claude can do with your twin

Consult the twin (consultar_twin): returns your voice guide and the material of yours that answers the question, so Claude replies in first person, like you, citing only that.
Ask the twin (preguntar_twin): the answer already written by your own twin.
What the twin still needs to know (preguntas_pendientes): the open gaps your twin has about you. You answer them in Twin2.me.

All three are read-only. Only what your twin learned from your material and passed its privacy filter is returned; original recordings and files never leave. If your twin has nothing on a topic, it says so: “In Twin I found nothing about…”.

Other assistants

ChatGPT connects the same way, with the same URL and authorizing with your account. For Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, Zed, Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Codex or your own code, go to app.twin2.me/conector: pick the platform and copy the generated config.

Disconnect

In app.twin2.me/conector, Conectados con tu cuenta (“connected with your account”) lists the assistants you have authorized; Quitar (“remove”) cuts their access immediately. You can also remove it from Customize → Connectors in Claude.

Troubleshooting

Claude says it cannot connect. Check the URL is exactly https://app.twin2.me/mcp, with no spaces, and click Connect again.
It asks you to authorize again. This happens if you removed the connector in Twin2.me or the permission expired: authorize again and continue.
The twin says it knows little. It lacks material on that topic: upload it in Material or answer its pending questions in Twin2.me.
