Terms of service

This is what we offer you and what we expect from you. It is written to be understood; "you" is whoever opens the account, and "we" is Twin2.me. What we do with your data is in the privacy policy.

What Twin2.me is

A service that builds an assistant — a "twin" — from the material you give it, and that answers in your voice. It is not a professional: it gives no medical, legal or financial advice, and what it answers may be wrong. What you do with its answers is your responsibility.

Your account

Today it is invitation-only. An account belongs to one person; do not share it.
You must be old enough to contract where you live, and in any case 18.
You can close it whenever you want by writing to info@twin2.me. We can close it if you break these terms, and we will tell you unless the law stops us.

Your material is yours

What you upload stays yours. You give us permission to process it for the sole purpose of providing the service: transcribing, distilling, indexing and using it so your twin can answer. Nothing else. We do not train models on it, we do not sell it and we do not show it to anyone.

In return, you warrant that you have the right to upload it: that it is yours or that you have permission from whoever it belongs to.

Recording meetings

If you use the meeting assistant, read this in full.

You decide and you answer for it. The assistant joins a meeting because you switched it on for that meeting. In many jurisdictions recording a conversation requires notifying every party, and in some it requires their express consent. Obtaining that permission is your obligation, not ours.
What we do on our side. The assistant joins under a name that says what it is, announces in the chat that it is recording and for whom, and on platforms that allow it triggers the native recording indicator. It records no video and no screen sharing, and the audio is deleted as soon as it is transcribed.
What you may not do. Use it to record someone who has asked not to be recorded, or in a context where the law forbids it.
If somebody objects. Ask the host to remove the assistant and delete the meeting from your material. If we receive a substantiated complaint from a recorded third party, we may withdraw that material.

You hold us harmless against third-party claims arising from recordings you made without the permission your jurisdiction required.

What you may not do

Impersonate another person with their twin, or pass yourself off as somebody you are not.
Upload illegal material, or third-party material you have no rights to.
Try to extract data from other accounts, get around your plan's limits, or automate the service in ways that degrade it for others.

Plans and payment

Each plan states what it includes and what limits it has. Usage limits exist because every answer and every meeting costs real money; when they run out the service pauses until the next cycle and we say so on screen. If we change prices, we tell you before it applies to you.

Availability and limits

We do what is reasonable to keep this working, but we do not promise it will always be available, nor that the assistant will manage to join every meeting: video-call platforms decide who they let in and change their rules without telling us. To the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is" and our liability is limited to what you have paid in the last twelve months.

Changes and governing law

If we change these terms materially, we will tell you by email or in the app before they apply. They are governed by the law of Colombia and any dispute will be resolved in its courts, without prejudice to any mandatory rights the law of your country of residence gives you.
